PEORIA, Ill. – 16 rising seniors who attended Bradley University’s Arts and Technology Camp last week got a big surprise before they went home.
“Every senior was given a certificate and a letter saying ‘hey come back and hang out with us…and here’s a scholarship for every single year for $20,000,” Bradley University’s Chris Marsh says.
Marsh tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan Show” the intent of the Arts and Technology Camp was to give kids entering 9th through 12th grade a glimpse at what college life at Bradley University looks like.
60 students from all over the country spent the week on campus.
In total, Bradley University handed out $1.25 million dollars in scholarships, should the seniors choose to attend.
