Local runners gearing up for Friday’s “Detweiller At Dark” races

PEORIA, Ill. – Over 2300 runners are expected at Friday night’s “Detweiller At Dark”.

RC Outfitters’ Adam White tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan” it’s one of the most unique Cross Country events in the country.

“We’ve got six different races that are going to go off that evening, with the last one kicking off at 10:10 in the evening. It is going to be spectacular,” White says.

“Detweiller At Dark” includes an open race, Jr. High and High School races for both Girls and Boys divisions, and a kids’ race.

White says there’ll be tons of lights, music and food trucks. Parking is $10.00.
