KEWANEE, Ill. – The shooting death of a Peoria man from two years ago remains unsolved, and Kewanee Police are seeking any help in solving the case.
On the evening of June 8th, 2024, 50-year-old Damon Foulks was found shot and killed in the 800-block of W. Division St. after a welfare check.
Foulks was pronounced dead at the scene, with an autopsy conducted on June 11th, 2024 turning the case into a homicide investigation.
At the time of the shooting, Kewanee Police requested the help of Illinois State Police and the Henry-Mercer County Investigative Task Force for the investigation.
Two years later, in a post made Tuesday, Kewanee Police stated the case remains open as they seek anyone with any piece of information. The post adds that “even the smallest detail may assist investigators.”
