EAST PEORIA, Ill. – Multiple items related to the new East Peoria Police station were approved at this week’s city council meeting.
One item unanimously approved by commissioners includes creating a new turn lane on eastbound Camp Street at Clocktower Drive by removing the median. Hein Construction was hired to do the work at around $49,000.
Commissioners also approved new traffic signals for the intersection, as well as network infrastructure equipment.
The new building is expected to be finished this summer.
