PEORIA, Ill. — Starting Wed., Nov. 18, Peoria City Hall will be closed until further notice to the public.
Citing Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines, the city said the move will be made to safeguard the public and city employees from COVID-19.
In a statement, Mayor Jim Ardis said “closing city buildings to the public is an important preventative measure to protect our staff while allowing us to continue our services. We are still available by phone or email to assist your needs.
“We thank the public for their understanding.”
