SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — 12,438 Illinoisans found out between Friday and Saturday they have coronavirus.
76 deaths were recorded.
Illinois Department of Public Health said 98,418 specimens were collected by labs throughout the state. The state’s rolling seven-day positivity rate went up to 10.3%.
4,250 patients throughout the state were in hospital beds because of the virus or possible cases of the virus. 813 of them were in intensive care, while 367 required ventilator use.
