PEORIA, Ill. — A Peoria man faces an aggravated battery charge for an incident Monday evening at the Dunkin’ Donuts in the 600 block of N. Western Avenue.
Maleike James, 20, reportedly got into an argument with a customer on where to place an order at the restaurant’s drive-thru.
As the customer was leaving, James walked out and confronted the man, who also got out of his car.
James allegedly punched the man until he lost consciousness.
Police said the customer was treated for his injuries at a local hospital.
