PEORIA, Ill. — The leaves are falling, and soon snow will be too.
News partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins told WMBD News what we can expect this winter.
“Recent roller coaster temperatures will continue this winter with periods of mild air and periods of cold air, but there’s no indication of prolonged bitterly cold weather,” Collins said.
Regarding snowfall, Collins said the Peoria metro area’s seasonal average is 25 inches, which is well below last season’s total of 36 inches.
