PEORIA, Ill. — A woman was shot in Peoria Thursday night in the 2200 block of N. Idaho Street.
Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said police responded to the call at approximately 10:20 p.m., and found the woman with a gunshot wound to the leg.
“She was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were considered non-life-threatening at this time,” Dotson said.
Police have no suspects. The incident remained under investigation.
