PEORIA, Ill. — Associated Bank has four locations in the Peoria area that will be closing in December, according to a letter obtained by WMBD.
According to the letter, Associated Bank is selling its Peoria area branches to Hometown Community Banks, Divisions of Morton Community Bank.
Existing customers will have access to Hometown Community Banks’ locations, including the current Associated Bank location on Pioneer Parkway.
The other four locations, as of Dec. 11, 2020, will be closed. Those locations include the banks on Camp St. in East Peoria, Fourth St. in Pekin, and Brandywine and Jefferson in Peoria.
According to the letter; loans, credit cards and brokerage accounts will remain with Associated Bank after the transition.
