PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say two people were arrested after shots were fired inside one apartment Monday night, later learning that two apartment were actually struck by shots.
Police were called to Lexington Hills Apartments on West Oakcrest around 9:30 p.m.
They eventually searched an apartment and found five firearms, seizing all of them.
Isaiah Jackson (pictured left), 23, and Bralyn Duncan (pictured right), 22, were arrested. Both face charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Defacing Identification Marks of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm without a valid FOID card, and Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.
Jackson was also charged with Obstructing Justice, and was found to be wanted on a Peoria County warrant.
The Lexington Hills Apartments were the scene of an arson fire in late-March that did damage to the complex’s office.
Both are jailed pending future court appearances.
