PEORIA, Ill. – We’re learning more about a stabbing incident in the West Bluff Monday involving two teenagers, and injuring one of them.
25 News reports Dakota Taylor, 18, was arrested and faces a charge of Aggravated Domestic Battery.
Peoria Police Public Information Officer Semone Roth says Taylor allegedly got into a confrontation with an 18-year-old, stabbing the victim once in the back, in the 2200 block of North Bigelow.
The victim was said to be in stable condition at a local hospital Monday.
It’s not clear what caused the incident.

PEORIA, Ill. – A juvenile reportedly sustained an injury after allegedly being stabbed by another juvenile Monday afternoon in the West Bluff neighborhood.
Peoria Police tell 25 News it happened in the 2200 block of North Bigelow, inbetween Arcadia and Republic, and both juveniles are believed to be “youth-in-care” at the Children’s Home. The stabbing, authorities say, did not occur at the Children’s Home.
The victim is said to be walking and talking, and might have been stabbed only once.
No other details are available, but an investigation is ongoing.
