MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico’s Supreme Court ruled on Monday to invalidate a measure that would create a national cellphone user registry with biometric data.
Nine justices voted in favor of invalidating the registry, which had been billed as a crime fighting tool, while two voted in favor of partial invalidation.
