SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — A Peoria County woman in her 90s was one of 20 coronavirus casualties in the 24-hour reporting period between Monday and Tuesday throughout the state of Illinois.
The Illinois Department of Public Health said 1,549 people throughout the state received positive test results during that time.
IDPH reported 41,362 specimens were taken in at labs all over the state. The rolling seven-day positivity rate remained stagnant, at 4.1%.
