PEORIA HEIGHTS, Ill. — Peoria Heights Police were busy Thursday morning, attending to a shooting victim.
A call came in around 10:45 regarding a male with a gunshot wound to his lower body in the 500 block of E. Prospect Ln.
His injuries were considered to be non-life-threatening.
Officers and medical personnel gave the man first aid, then took him to OSF.
No suspect information was immediately released.
