SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — 1,759 Illinoisans received positive COVID-19 test results in the 24-hour reporting period between Tuesday and Wednesday, said the Illinois Department of Public Health.
The IDPH also reported 30 related deaths.
46,668 specimens were taken during that period of time.
The rolling seven-day positivity rate remained at 3.9%.
1,552 people were in Illinois hospitals as of Wednesday with the virus or symptoms thereof. 368 of those patients were at intensive care-level, while 129 patients were using ventilators.
