PEORIA, Ill. — Hospital bed usage for COVID-19 increased between Monday and Tuesday by four, according to the Peoria City/County Health Department.
Intensive care unit usage around the area remained at ten, with nine individuals with confirmed cases and one suspected case. 22 people, meanwhile, were in hospitals with cases deemed not severe enough to require intensive care.
Total hospitalizations on Monday was 28.
Recovery rate ticked up a percentage point, to just above 66%, while home isolation dropped a percentage point, and hospitalization rate remained 2%.
Of Peoria County’s 1,056 cases since the pandemic began, 686 were fully recovered. 317 people were in home isolation, and 22 were hospitalized.
192 of Tazewell County’s 288 confirmed cases have recovered. 81 were in recovery at home, while seven were hospitalized.
Woodford County doesn’t break its numbers down like the other two counties. It was reporting two additional cases from Monday.
