PEORIA, Ill. – One of the legendary guitarists in rock music will make a date with Peoria later this year.
Joe Satriani is coming to the Peoria Civic Center October 13th, with tickets going on sale Friday, April 1. Satriani has a new album out called “The Elephants of Mars,” and he’s touring in support of that.
“The guitarist challenged himself to create a ‘new standard’ for instrumental guitar albums to be measured against, one which would work from ‘a new platform of his own design,’ as he terms it,” according to a press release.
Also, the Beatles tribute band known as The Fab Four will perform at the Civic Center November 12th, with tickets also going on sale Friday.
“Their incredible stage performances include three costume changes representing every era of the Beatles ever-changing career, and this loving tribute to the Beatles has amazed audiences in countries around the world, including Japan, Australia, France, Hong Kong, The United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico and Brazil,” a press release said.
