University officials said the case count as of Friday afternoon was up to ten. This number does include some students, the school confirmed.
The July 27-31 orientation sessions will be conducted virtually, and all upcoming campus visits will be rescheduled.

PEORIA, Ill. — Bradley University has announced a small outbreak of COVID-19 on its campus.
Namely, the institution said, this outbreak involves members of its orientation program.
Eight individuals as of Friday morning had tested positive. The school didn’t say whether or not there were results pending.
University officials said they were working with the Peoria City/County Health Department in contact tracing.
They said individuals who were known to be within six feet of a positive case for more than 15 minutes would receive a call or text, and action would need to be taken.
Immediately-affected individuals have been placed into a 14-day quarantine.
First day of in-person classes is scheduled for Aug. 26.
