PEORIA, Ill. – The CEO of a Pekin-based company that has made a name for itself during the COVID-19 pandemic is now facing federal criminal charges.
Documents filed in Peoria indicate a federal grand jury Tuesday charged Aaron Rossi, 39, with three counts of Making and Subscribing a False Tax Return.
The documents accuse Rossi of filing the tax returns for the 2015 through 2017 years, and, in each case, receiving income not included in the tax return.
The Bloomington resident started Reditus in 2019, and also two other businesses since then.
Documents do not yet indicate an attorney for Rossi. He’s scheduled to be in federal court April 7th.
