PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police were called around 3:40 a.m. Wednesday to the scene of a shooting in the 1200 block of W. Millman.
Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said a ShotSpotter alert indicated three rounds were fired.
“Officers located a male victim of a gunshot wound to the hand in the 1800 block of Millman. AMT and PFD were on-scene, and he was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” Dotson said.
Police conducted a K-9 search of the area with negative results.
The incident remains under investigation.
