PEORIA, Ill. — Eight newly-confirmed coronavirus cases in the Peoria-Tazewell-Woodford tri-county brought the area’s overall total on Tuesday to 757.
Breaking that number down further, Peoria County accounted for 569 of those, up from Monday’s 565. 435 Peoria County residents were considered to be fully recovered, while 97 were in home isolation and eight were in area hospitals.
Tazewell was reporting a total 150 cases, an increase of two from Monday, with 112 fully recovered. 27 were in home isolation, while three were hospitalized.
Woodford also reported an increase of two cases, with 38.
In total, 76.4% of area cases were recovered, while 17% were in home isolation, and 1.1% were in hospitals.
Three locally-confirmed cases were in area ICU beds.
