SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — It was another day of over 30,000 COVID-19 tests administered across the state, the Illinois Department of Public Health said Tuesday in its daily update.
That trend started last Tuesday and has kept up each weekday since, with 31,069 tests having been given between Monday and Tuesday.
724 new cases were reported, with 23 additional deaths.
There have been 143,185 cases and 6,923 deaths since testing started in March.
The rolling seven-day positivity rate was 2.6%.
