SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — For the second consecutive day, Illinois from Sunday to Monday saw a 24-hour period COVID-19 death toll in the teens.
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 14 deaths in that time period, with 738 new cases.
The rolling seven-day positivity rate was at 2.7%.
Since testing began, 142,461 tests have come back positive.
There have been 6,902 deaths.
A total of 1,571,896 specimens have been taken statewide.
