PEORIA, Ill. — For the second day in a row, Peoria and Tazewell Counties reported new cases of COVID-19.
Peoria reported five new cases for a total of 429 confirmed cases. Peoria County also reported an additional death, a woman in her 80’s who was associated with the outbreak at University Rehab. Peoria County’s death total now sits at 26.
Tazewell County reported one additional case of the virus, bringing the total to 113.
Woodford County remains steady at 33 confirmed cases.
For the Tri-County, 75.8% of cases have recovered from the virus, 16% are at home isolating, and 2.1% are in the hospital.
The number of ICU beds in use remains at 3. Two are people under investigation and one is a confirmed case.
