SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — It’s officially been two weeks since Illinois as a state has seen a quadruple digit amount of new coronavirus cases over a 24-hour period.
The Illinois Department of Public Health on Friday was reporting 692 new cases.
There were also 44 additional deaths.
There have been 135,470 cases since the pandemic began, to go along with 6,580 deaths.
1,311,003 tests have been administered.
The state’s rolling seven-day positivity rate stayed at 3%.
