SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Nearly 30,000 tests for COVID-19 were taken from Tuesday to Wednesday at labs across Illinois, with 546 coming back positive.
There have been 87 deaths reported over that same 24-hour period, statewide.
The state’s rolling seven-day positivity rate remained steady, at 3%.
Since testing began, 134,185 tests have come back positive out of a possible 1,258,328.
6,485 Illinoisans have died from coronavirus.
All regions of the state were meeting the metrics Wednesday to move to phase four of restore Illinois.
