PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria City/County Health Department reported that Peoria County saw three additional deaths related to COVID-19.
One was a female in her 90’s, and two were males in their 80’s and residents of a long term care facility.
One had recovered from the virus, but never returned to their baseline health, according to the health department.
That brings Peoria’s total deaths related to COVID-19 to 16. The Tri-County region has a total of 24.
Peoria County has reported 327 cases, an increase of four cases.
Tazewell County reported two new cases, adding to 82 total. Woodford County remains stagnant at 23.
66% of confirmed cases have recovered, 23.6% are at home isolating, and 5.1% are hospitalized.
ICU bed use decreased in local hospitals to 6 total being used for patients with the virus. There are 24 non-ICU beds in use for COVID-19 patients.
