PEORIA, Ill. – A garage in Peoria caught fire thanks in part to a malfunctioning snow blower.
Peoria firefighters were called to the scene at 2100 North Bigelow in the West Bluff around 1 p.m. Thursday, and had the blaze under control in about 45 minutes.
Officials say a repairman was fixing a gasoline-powered snow blower that caught fire.
The fire has officially been determined to be accidental, and the garage had an estimated $15,000 in damage.
There were no reports of injuries.
