PEORIA,Ill. — Peoria firefighters were called just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday to a building in the 1100 block of N. North Street on reports of a structure fire.
“The fire this morning was also an arson fire set to a vehicle in a parking lot,” said Peoria Fire Battalion Chief Clint Kuhlman.
Kuhlman said the fire extended from the vehicle to the building causing damage to an exterior wall, attic space, part of the interior and another vehicle in the parking lot.
