PEORIA,Ill. — Strong winds and heavy rain are possible in the Peoria area Wednesday afternoon.
News partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins predicts strong to severe thunderstorms could roll in by midday.
“Scattered storms will move through between noon and 3 p.m. The tornado risk is low, but there could be 60 mile per hour wind gusts, one inch hail and locally heavy down pours,” Collins said.
