EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — Pritzker held his daily COVID-19 daily press conference downstate in East St. Louis to praise the work the Illinois National Guard does with drive-thru testing sites.
Pritzker said the state does not inflate the number of positive virus tests with antibody tests.
The total number of Illinoisans who tests positive for COVID-19 is 113, 306. Pritzker reported an additional 160 lives lost to the virus, adding up to 5,083 total.
“COVID-19 knows no boundaries and seeks to destroy,” Pritzker said.
