PEORIA, Ill. — A long-running Peoria event has been cancelled due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a post on their Facebook page, organizers have decided to cancel the 40th Annual Moss Avenue Antique Sale and Festival. It was scheduled to be held on Saturday, June 13.
“While this is an extremely difficult decision to make, the health and well-being of our attendees, vendors, dealers, neighbors and volunteers are our main concern.”
Vendors who have already submitted their fee will be getting their money back this week, according to the Facebook post.
Organizers say the Moss Avenue Sale and Festival will be back next June.
