PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Public Schools entered into an agreement Monday night for SHIELD Illinois to provide additional COVID-19 PCR testing.
The school board unanimously approved the agreement at no cost to the district which administrators said will “add an additional layer of mitigation.”
The program enables all kindergarten through 12th graders outside of Chicago to receive free testing.
