PEORIA, Ill. — Don’t be fooled by the beautiful day Peoria.
News partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins predicts severe weather is a strong possibility for the Peoria area heading into Wednesday night.
“A line of thunderstorms will push through metro Peoria between 5-8 p.m. All of the ingredients are coming together for brief tornado touchdowns, large hail, possibly golf ball size, and damaging winds of 60-75 miles per hour,” Collins said.
The storm front is expected to bring an end to the warm weather the Peoria area has seen the past few days. Windy and chilly conditions Thursday will bring high temperatures in the forties.
