PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria firefighters were called just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday to a home in the 2100 block of W. Lincoln in Peoria. Crews found fire in a bedroom.
Battalion Chief Ralph Phillips said firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, containing the fire to a mattress.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
