PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria City/County Health Department said Monday’s official COVID-19 case count remained at 15, but with a couple developments.
Peoria County’s positive case count remained at seven, including one over the weekend that was the first reported community transmission.
Meanwhile, there were still four in Woodford and four in Tazewell, though minutes before the meeting, a fifth in Woodford was reported and officials said that would be reflected in Tuesday’s report.
Additionally, four people in the area’s intensive care units were being investigated for COVID-19.
Three confirmed cases of the virus were reportedly in area ICUs.
Some of these patients had contact with people who have had contact with individuals who have been diagnosed, said Monica Hendrickson, Health Administrator.
