PEORIA, Ill. — There is a real chance of severe weather as we head into the weekend.
News partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins told WMBD News that the Peoria metro area is at a Level Two risk for severe weather including isolated tornadoes, 60 mile per hour winds and large hail.
“This severe potential will occur after 7:00 Friday evening. Behind the front, we’ll have strong northwest winds and much colder weather on Saturday,” Collins said.
