PEORIA, Ill. – A no visitor policy will be implemented at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
OSF HealthCare, Saint Francis Medical Center and OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois will implement a strict NO VISITOR policy in response to Governor J.B. Pritzker’s shelter in place.
The changes will be effective at 5 p.m. Saturday.
OSF Saint Francis stated the restrictions may impose an inconvenience to some families, though a few exceptions were made;
*One visitor will be allowed for pediatric patients
*One visitor will be allowed for childbirth
*Exceptions will be made for end-of-life situations.
“This is an important step to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible.” according to OSF Saint Francis.
