PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria emergency crews were called just before 3:15 p.m. Sunday to the 3000 block of W. Marquette Avenue after a large section of a tree fell on a home, causing major damage, crushing the roof and front sides of the home.
One resident was reportedly on the front porch at the time. They were taken to a hospital for treatment.
It was determined the home’s structure was not safe. Two residents were displaced.
