ELITE supporters say the program’s mentors bring a personal connection to students that would be difficult to replace, while district leaders say there are several ways to get through to a child.
ELITE supporters plan to rally Saturday ahead of Monday’s school board vote.
In a special report tonight on 25News at Six, RaShaun Haynes takes a closer look at the district’s plan and what’s at stake for ELITE and the students it serves.
