TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. – An Armington man has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tazewell County crash Saturday night.
Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley says 62-year-old Jeffrey Foster suffered multiple blunt force injuries in the crash. An autopsy was conducted on Foster on Monday.
Foster was the operator and lone person on a motorcycle involved in the two-vehicle crash at Illinois Route Nine and Leopold Street in Mackinaw at around 6:15 P.M.
Hanley says Foster was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by Illinois State Police, and the Tazewell County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Offices.

TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. (25 News) -One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening near Mackinaw, said Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley.
The crash happened about 6:30 p.m. on Illinois Route 9, between Mackinaw Road and King Drive in Mackinaw Township
Hanley said one of the vehicles was a motorcycle, but no other details are available.
The coroner has not identified the victim, He said an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
An Illinois State Police traffic crash reconstruction unit is assisting Tazewell County Sheriff’s deputies with the investigation.
