Greater Peoria Honor Flight making another trip to D.C.

PEORIA, Ill. – The Greater Peoria Honor Flight is making another trip to the nation’s capitol on Tuesday. 

72 local veterans and their guardians will spend the day touring the war memorials and the sights of Washington, D.C.

You’re invited to welcome the Honor Flight home at Peoria International Airport Tuesday night.  The flight is expected to return around 9:30.

Shuttle service will be available from the CEFCU parking lot starting at 8:00.

There will be a short program as the Vets are reunited with family and friends.
