...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT TODAY...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, southeast, and west
  central Illinois.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT today.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. In
  addition, blowing and drifting snow will result in snow covered
  and slippery roads as well as visibility under a mile at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution and secure outdoor objects.
