PEORIA, Ill. — Bradley University issued a safety alert to students Tuesday night in regards to an attempted robbery near campus.
BU and Peoria Police were called just after 9:30 p.m. to the 800 block of N. Frink Street. Bradley University Police said a student was approached by an unknown suspect who said he had a gun.
BU Police say nothing was taken, and the student was not injured.
The suspect, described as a black male in his early 20’s, fled north toward St. James Street.
The incident remains under investigation.
