PEORIA, Ill. – Three teenagers have been indicted for murder by a Peoria County grand jury in the shooting death of a man riding a bicycle in South Peoria last month.
On Tuesday, 16-year-old Orlando Hanson, 17-year-old Jamion Irby, and 16-year-old Davieon Webster were each indicted on one count each of First Degree Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Handgun.
They are accused in the death of 22-year-old Khmari Rickmon on October 12th. Rickmon was shot in the head in the area of Antoinette and Westmoreland and died two days later.
Prosecutors allege a witness spotted the three teenagers running from where shots were fired to a nearby home, with three firearms and matching shell casings reportedly found by police during a search of the home.
All three are due back in court for arraignment hearings on Thursday.
