Peoria, Ill — Four people are recovering from injuries related to Friday night’s multi-vehicle pile-up on the Murray Baker Bridge in Peoria.
Illinois State Police describe it as a chain reaction crash involving four vehicles, including a tractor trailer.
It happened around 6 p.m. when a 64-year-old Matherville man lost control off his car, hitting a concrete barrier and skidding back into traffic.
Three other vehicles, including that big-rig got piled up in the crash.
As you might expect, the injured include the drivers and passengers from the two vehicles crunched by the tractor trailer.
State Troopers say they all suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A news release issued early Saturday says the crash investigation is ongoing.
