PEORIA, Ill. – Three men are facing additional charges in a June fatal shooting in South Peoria after allegedly shooting another person in the incident.
A Peoria County grand jury has indicted 20-year-old Christopher Adams, 18-year-old Kemareon Bell, and 17-year-old Lamar Cagle each on one count of Aggravated Battery.
Court documents allege that they ”knowingly discharged a firearm in the direction of an occupied motor vehicle, thereby causing an injury.”
The trio were previously indicted for First Degree Murder in the death of 20-year-old Teron Scott in the same incident.
Scott was found with a gunshot wound in the back of a vehicle that had crashed into a tree at MLK Park.
