PEORIA, Ill. – Ignite Peoria returns to the Peoria Civic Center this weekend.
Saturday’s event, presented by ArtsPartners of Central Illinois and now in its 11th year, is for people of all ages who are interested in the arts.
“So if you’re an artist, you’re creative, you’re a writer, you like acting, you like fashion, you like creating things or STEAM, this is a great place to be,” Nate Domeneghini tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan Show”.
The event’s Co-Chair Chelsea Carmona says Ignite Peoria really has something for everyone.
“Whether you are in creative fields, or you support creative fields, we have over 80 vendors coming to Ignite (Peoria), so you can find something no matter what your interests are,” Carmona says.
The all-day Ignite Peoria event is free, featuring interactive booths and workshops, 2 stages, Fashion Ignite, Sensory Ignite, immersive arts, innovation, and makers experiences.
Ignite Peoria runs Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Peoria Civic Center’s Exhibition halls.
