PEKIN, Ill. – A Pekin woman accused of attempting to hire someone to murder her husband has been sentenced to prison.
Court documents show that 48-year-old Allison Salinas has been sentenced to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of Solicitation of Murder on August first.
Salinas was arrested last month and charged with Solicitation of Murder after reportedly asking a man from Texas to kill her husband between 2023 and 2024.
She was released under house arrest, with her husband blaming mental health issues on both sides of the relationship.
